Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Violence: Strong's # 971: To use force - To apply force - To force - To inflict violence on. Violent: Strong's # 973: Strong - forceful.
Force: Strong's #971: To use force - To apply force - To force - To inflict violence on.

The Amplified Bible:
And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force (as a precious prize - a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion).

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Presseth: Strong's # 971: To use force - To apply force - To force - To inflict violence on.

We are to take the kingdom of heaven unto ourselves eagerly. We are to press into it. Paul said he pressed toward the mark for the prize.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus
.
Press: Strong's # 1377: 2. to run swiftly in order to catch a person or thing, to run after a. to press on: figuratively of one who in a race runs swiftly to reach the goal b. to pursue (in a hostile manner) 5. to pursue a. to seek after eagerly, earnestly endeavour to acquire.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Strive: Strong's # 75: 1. to contend with adversaries, fight 2. metaph. to contend, struggle, with difficulties and dangers
3. to endeavour with strenuous zeal, strive: to obtain something.
Seek: Strong's # 2212: 1. to seek in order to find a. to seek a thing b. to seek [in order to find out] by thinking, meditating, reasoning, to enquire into c. to seek after, seek for, aim at, strive after 2. to seek i.e. require, demand a. to crave, demand something from someone.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
1co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
1co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air.
Striveth: Strong's # 75: 1. to contend with adversaries, fight 2. metaph. to contend, struggle, with difficulties and dangers 3. to endeavour with strenuous zeal, strive: to obtain something.

According to these Scriptures we are to be forceful and press into the kingdom of God. There is a real adversary out there who will try to stop us from entering in. We need to be like Paul and forget the past and reach and press toward the mark for the prize that is ahead.

Paul told Timothy:
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Fight: Same as Striveth: Strong's # 75: 1. to contend with adversaries, fight 2. metaph. to contend, struggle, with difficulties and dangers 3. to endeavour with strenuous zeal, strive: to obtain something. Good Fight: Strong's # 73: b. generally, any struggle or contest c. a battle d. an action at law, trial.

Paul also gave Timothy this advise. We should also take heed to it because we are soldiers in God's army.

2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
2ti 2:5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully
.
Strive: Strong's # 118: 1. to contend for a prize 2. to endure, suffer.

We are enforcers of God's victory. The battle has already been won. We are to stand in the victory that Jesus already paid for.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord
.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Diligently & Seek mean the same thing.
Seek: Strong's #1567: 1. to seek out, search for 2. to seek out, i.e. investigate, scrutinise 3. to seek out for one's self, beg, crave 4. to demand back, require.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Also Luke 12:31.
Seek: Strong's # 2212

Put God first in your life and He will provide all that you need. He is a Good Father. He will give you strength to run the race that is set before you.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mt 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened
. Also Luke 11:9-10.

Seek & Seeketh: Strong's # 2212

Luke 15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
Seek: Strong's # 2212 Diligently in this verse means carefully. (Strong's # 1960)

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
(Seek: Strong's #2212)

This should be our job too. Jesus left us orders to do His work. We are His body in this earth. We must go out and compel them to come in to the kingdom. Just like the woman who lost the coin we should search diligently for the lost.

Mark 1:37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

The last part of Mark 1:37 says "All men seek for Thee".
I pray that all people everywhere will seek (crave) the Lord, find Him, and accept Him as their Savior.
