Daniel 10:7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Da 10:8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
Da 10:9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
Da 10:10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands
Da 10:11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
Da 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.(in response to)
Let's stop right here for a while. Look at verse 11. The angel tells Daniel, "You are greatly loved." The first thing the angel does is to reafirm the fact that he is loved.
It always seems like one of the first things the devil does to people that are in hard trials is tell them that nobody loves them, including God. That's a lie. Let me show that Jesus prayed on your behalf.
John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
Joh 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Joh 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
The first thing that God wants you to know today is that He loves you.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1jo 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Romans 8:37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who has loved us.
Ro 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither the lower ranks of evil angels nor the higher, neither things present nor things future, nor the forces of nature,
Ro 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God which rests upon us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
WHILE NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM HIS LOVE, SIN WILL SEPARATE US FROM HIS PRESENCE.
God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to pay the price for your sin and mine.
The first thing you need to know is that you are loved.
The next thing you need to know is that your prayer is heard.
Daniel 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done
John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Joh 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
The angel had told him, "From the first day, your prayers were heard." The Angel tells Daniel, "I'm here because of your words but there was a battle in the heavenlies."
There is a battle going on that you can't see. The Bible says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The enemy would like for you to think that somehow God has turned a deaf ear to your prayer.
The enemy of your soul would like for you to see prayer as a kind of spiritual wishbone; going through the motions but not really expecting results. If that’s been your attitude, then change it!
The time has come for you to get serious about prayer.
We need to stop praying just because it’s proper.
We need to stop praying just because you always pray at this point in the church service.
We need to start praying to get results!
God sent an angel to Daniel to let him know his prayer was heard.
If there ever was a time we needed to pray with confidence it is now. We are facing an extremely critical hour. Satan is literally killing people with disease, drugs, depression, and every other weapon he can get his hands on. At the same time, he is stirring up strife and dissension, trying to disarm the Body of Christ who has the power and authority to stop him.
We’re being pressured from every side. But don’t cave in and give up.
James 5:16 says: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
The angel reasurred Daniel of three things:
You are greatly loved
Your prayer has been heard
Help is on the way
In Exodus chapter 3 when God spoke to Moses about Isreal He said:
I have seen , I have heard, I have come down to deliver.
I want to speak to you today and say:
You are loved.
The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell.
Your prayer has been heard.
Psalm 34:6 David said, This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Help is on the way.
Ephesians 6:13-14 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.
Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Ex 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
When the children of God obeyed, God did something that had never been done before. He made a way of escape that had never existed before. He can do the same for you.
Today's message is very simple.
You are loved.
Your prayers are heard.
Help is on the way.
