Let's turn to Deuteronomy 28:7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
What land has the Lord given you? Your home, your spouse, your kids, your church.
Your house does not belong to the devil, or your wife, or your kids. That's your "land," your premises, your bank account, your health. That's your land that God has given you. But you can give it all away if you want to. You can let the enemy run over you or we can get a spiritural back bone. Take a stand on the Living Word of God and let the devil know that we are not going to just let him destroy our blessings.
What I want to tell you today that in Romans 8:2 the Bible says For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: verse 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
If you are Born Again you have become an heir and you didn't inherit the curse of the law, you inherited the Blessing.
WHEN YOU WERE BORN AGAIN YOU WERE BORN TO VICTORY, BORN TO CONQUER!
When you were born again you were born into victory that Jesus won.
I heard Brother Prince say it this way "We are not fighting for victory we are fighting from Victory: Fighting from the high ground that Jesus already won. Jesus died to gain this victory ground for us. Don't pray for victory. Pray from victory.
Now having said all that I would like to turn to Luke chapter19.
Luke 19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them,Occupy till I come.
OCCUPY - To take possession of a territory. To carry on a business.
The nobleman in Jesus' parable gave his servants all they would need til he returned and gave them the responsibilty of using it or not.
We are to use the Power of the Holy Ghost and The Name of Jesus, with full authority. Christians have become timid today. They have become afraid to speak out and make a stand. It seems like it doesn't take persecution to stiffle us, just controversy.
Church, listen to me. We have got to quit magnifying our weaknesses and failures and begin magnifying our union with Christ. Take our place with him on the high ground of victory that Jesus won and has given unto us to occupy.
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
That is our position in Christ. From that position we can stand before the Father without condemnation.
Hebrews(4-16) says let us come boldly unto the Throne of Grace ( It is the place to go when you are feeling spiritually & emotionally bankrupt) that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need .
God gives us what we need to move forward moment by moment.
BOLDLY(- par-rhay-see'-ah); free and fearless confidence, cheerful courage, boldness, assurance, Speaking freely.
When we can stand in that kind of freedom with the Father, then we should be able to stand in victory over Satan and his demons.
OCCUPY TILL I COME
Jesus died to give us this victory ground. We are to possess it, occupy it, take up a stand on it. You know, like the nobleman in the parable.
Jesus, before he was caught up into Heaven, told his disciples and all who would believe on him and be saved, to carry on the business of the Gospel.
The assignment is to preach this Gospel to every creature, to cast out demons, and to lay hands on the sick. Basically we are to carry on the business; to occupy till he returns. He left us the Authority of His name and the Power of the Holy Ghost to operate in. Born into Victory. Born to Conquer. Demons should tremble when you come around not the other way around.
Let me repeat our opening scripture. Deuteronomy 28:7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
Now would be a good time to define who my enemy is.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
Friends, listen to me right here. Satan has lured many Christians today off of the high ground of victory that Jesus won down into a carnal fleshly battle.
Brother and Sister, keep your battle within the spiritural boundries and the warfare in the spirit. If the devil wants to fight, make him come to your ground. Don't move down to his. I can tell you right now that fear will move you off the high ground.
2 Corinthians10-4 says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
It doesn't matter what the carnal reports say about your circumstance.
The weapons of your warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
Romans 8:37 says Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Through Christ we are born to conquer.
Born again is much more than being a forgiven sinner. You are made a recreated child of the most high God. Delivered from the authority of darkness (Colossians 1-13), and given (Luke 10-19) power over all the power of the enemy, raised to the victory ground where (2 Corinthians 2-14) God always causes you to triumph in Christ.
Brother and sister, when you were born again Satan's dominion over you life ended right there.
The good fight of faith boils down to this: A defeated enemy trying to convince you that he is not defeated, but that he still has some power over you. Your good fight of faith is to stand boldly and confess that in the Name of Jesus you will not surrender the victory that Jesus already won.
Let's look at another scripture and you may wonder at first how it fits, but bear with me a few more minutes.
Genesis 8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
Does anyone know what Ararat means? It means the curse reversed.
The ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat, on new ground, where the curse is reversed.
When you were created a new creature in Christ, you were raised above Adam's transgression, pulled out of the mirey clay of sin and defeat and failure, lifted out of Satan's dominion, moved from the cursed ground to the blessed ground.
When you were filled with the blessed Holy Ghost you were filled with a force that caused you to become bouyant in the floods of life. Oh, the storms of life may try to pull you under, but you will pop back because of what's on the inside.
Because Christ is in me and I am in Christ, my vessel, like Noah's, is pitched (protected) within and with out.
Jesus is my Ark and he has brought me to rest on the high ground where the curse is reversed .
I have been born again; born to Victory.
