How many Christians do you know right now who are barely holding on; who are looking for a miracle to get
them through a critical time?
Unless I am wrong, you know some. And most of us have been among them from time to time.

During our ministry we have seen times when it seemed like the pressure just never stopped.
It is not that God didn't deliver us. He did. He rescued us over and over again, time after time, but it seemed
like one impossible situation after another just kept popping up. It was like we were living from one miracle to
the next.

Now even though I am so thankful for those miracles and so greatful that God is always faithful, I will tell you that I got tired of living that way.
When I would ask some other minister or elder they would say, "What do you expect; that's just how it is when you live by faith." "You must believe God everyday for enough to get by."

Somewhere in my heart I felt that God's plan was a much higher plan; that it is not a "just get by" covenant, but a "more than enough" covenant.

Elijah and the widows family didn't have to scrape the meal barrel every day. They only had to dip from it.
Abraham and Lot were blessed until the land could not hold them.
Simon was blessed until their boats could not hold it all.

I began to search the scripture to see what God's Word had to say.
Psalms 115:9-14. Verse 9. O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: He is their help and their shield.(The church)
Verse 10. O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: He is their help and their shield. (The ministry)
Verse 11. Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: He is their help and their shield.(The individual)
Verse 12. The Lord hath been mindful of us, he will bless us, he will bless the house of Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron,
Verse 13. He will bless them that fear the Lord both small and great.
Verse 14. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

Psalms 35:27. Let them shout for joy, and be glad that favor my righteous cause, yea let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Proverbs 10:22. The blessing of the Lord it maketh rich and he addeth no sorrow with it.

God has no pleasure in your suffering.

I am not trying to preach a get rich message today, but I am trying to say that if we can believe God to bail us out when we have hit rock bottom, then we can believe God to keep us off of the bottom.

The children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years because of disobedience and unbelief, not because it was God's perfect will for them.

Psalms 78:41 says, yea, they turned back and tempted God and limited the Holy One of Israel.God kept them. Their clothes didn't wear out, but he was limited in what he could do for them by their unbelief.

In Matthew 13:58 and Mark 6:5, Jesus could do no mighty works in his home town because of unbelief.
Let me show you something.

Turn to Galatians 3:13-14; that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.

Now turn over to Hebrews 6:13-15. For when God made promise to Abraham because he could swear by no greater he sware by himself saying, surely blessing I will bless thee and multiplying I will multiply thee, and so after he had patiently endured he obtained the promise.

Romans 8:32. He that spared not his own Son but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things.
If God be willing to give his Son for you, then what blessing would he withhold?

O.K. Dave, you have convinced me God wants me to be blessed and to be a blessing.
Why am I not receiving?

Turn to Haggai chapter 1 verses 6 and 7.
I. First and formost, stop blaming God.
Malachi 3:13-14. Your words have been stout against me.
You have said, "What's the use, it doesn't work."

II. Change your words.
I Peter 2:9 says that ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.
It is given to a priest of the Lord the power to pronounce blessing and cursing.
Read your Bible and tell if this was not given to the chosen of the Lord to speak a blessing over their household.
Change your words.

III. Be committed.
What we are talking about today is not something that you are going to exerience overnight. It takes committment.
Supernatural increase comes to those who are faithful, diligent, and determined to hold to God's Word until the harvest comes.

IV. Be diligent.
Diligence does not mean that everything falls into place. Diligence is defined as making a steady effort to accomplish.
Galatians 6:9. Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

V. Don't rob God.
For a continual harvest there must also be a continual sowing. Interruptions in harvest often comes from interruptions in planting.

I believe it is time for us to tear down the fences of limitations in our lives and believe God's Word.
I believe that God wants to enlarge our borders. I believe that it's time we stop living from miracle to miracle, to change and to grow from always being in need to being able to fill a need, from seeking a blessing to being a blessing.
